Our belief in the preservation of history is such that, we fund and have made the following entities available on-line:

National Registry of Living Historians

The goal of the National Registry of Living Historians, the N.R.L.H., is to build a nationwide communications network   to help facilitate the Living Historian and educational communities. For that reason, the N.R.L.H. was founded as a national project to provide the premier portal of organization and communication for Living Historians and educators as well as the private and business communities.

The N.R.L.H. performs many vital functions for historians and reenactors, as well as everyday people. It provides a way for educators to find speakers, groups to recruit, merchants and traders to get their web address in front of the right people, reenactors to find each other, people wishing to become reenactors to find the nearest group, film production companies to find large numbers of historically accurate groups, and much, much more. We currently have over 800 member/groups and are literally growing every week!

Links To The Past

Links to the past.org (L.T.T.P.) has been designed to provide the most comprehensive and easy to use Historian Marketplace on the Internet! It is an all-in-one trading post for anyone and everyone involved in history education and historical interpretation.

L.T.T.P. makes finding sites that apply to any particular time period quick and easy. From the main directory page users simply click on a category page that applies to their interest, they are then taken to an area filled with links and banners that apply to their specific time period. It's that simple, it's that easy!  Stop searching the old fashioned way!

An extension of the National Registry of Living Historians, L.T.T.P. has 70+ historical categories ranging from the 15th century through the 21st century and is filled with links to every type of Sutler, Trader, Merchant and Historical Organization that one can think of! It is laid out in such a way that finding exactly what you want is as easy as one click of the mouse. No searching is required, (although a search engine is provided), as the user simply clicks on the desired time period, or genre, and is instantly taken to all the links and banners that apply.

Visitors who qualify may enter their own self placed links in the time period(s) that are represented through their goods and or services and enter a 250 character description of their business / organization. With one click they are automatically added (once approved, of course) to the area(s) they deal in. There is no charge for this service, the only thing we require is a reciprocal link to the N.R.L.H.

These links will provide a great enhancement for the N.R.L.H. in all the major search engines on the web. N.R.L.H. currently comes up in the top three listings under Living Historians and this will insure we maintain our status. Naturally, this is as important to our merchants as it is to our members.

Although L.T.T.P. has just come on-line we already have 1500+ self placed links for your use, enjoyment and perusal. At our current rate of growth we expect to have over 4,000 easy to find Historian Marketplace links in the next 90 days!

L.T.T.P. also offers a unique method of banner advertising called Target Marketing (the most efficient way to advertise a historical site on the net!), as well as extremely low priced sponsored listing opportunities. From free links to full non-rotating banners L.T.T.P. is fast becoming the portal for historical marketing on the world wide web!
